RECOVERY

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)

Subcutaneous injection (weekly)

Overview

Thymosin Beta-4 is a 43-amino acid actin-sequestering protein involved in cell migration, differentiation, and tissue repair. It promotes wound healing by upregulating cell-building proteins such as actin and laminin, facilitating cell migration to sites of injury.

Mechanism of Action

TB-500 also has anti-inflammatory properties mediated through NF-kB pathway modulation.

Research Summary & Key Findings

Accelerated dermal wound repair and corneal epithelial healing in clinical studies. Phase II trials showed improved cardiac function post-myocardial infarction (RegeneRx Biopharmaceuticals).

Clinical Status

TRIALS

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) is currently undergoing clinical trials. It is not yet FDA-approved and is available only through clinical research settings or investigational protocols.

Administration Routes

Subcutaneous injection (weekly)
