PERFORMANE

PEG-MGF

Subcutaneous injection

Overview

PEG-MGF is a pegylated derivative of Mechano Growth Factor designed to extend systemic half-life through the addition of polyethylene glycol moieties. Pegylation reduces renal clearance and proteolytic degradation, theoretically allowing for less frequent dosing and broader tissue distribution compared to unmodified MGF.

Mechanism of Action

The modified peptide retains the proposed satellite cell activation properties of native MGF.

Research Summary & Key Findings

No published clinical or preclinical studies have characterized the pharmacology, safety, or efficacy of PEG-MGF in any species. Available information is derived from unverified commercial sources and anecdotal reports. This compound has not been subjected to regulatory review and remains wholly investigational.

Clinical Status

FDA APPROVED

PEG-MGF is in the research phase with limited clinical data in humans. Current evidence is primarily derived from preclinical (animal or in vitro) studies.
